3D Scaleworks

“The request for Dutch railway architecture for scale models have been quite low until now. Up until a couple of years ago the scale model industry has been governed by a couple serial productions. Many model enthusiasts are gratified by offering the complete Dutch railway architecture. CAD techniques and Leapfrog 3D printers gave me the means to answer these enthusiasts by providing on demand unique scale models. The models are more realistic as well which is highly appreciated!”

AV Flexologic

Engineering is everywhere. The very plastic bags you eat your chips from has been produced by the flexographic industry. AV Flexologic is such a company and market leader in producing the very machines which can make flexible packaging. And if you look closely to your wrapper or bag with any kind of prints on it, you can see that creating these packages is tricky and required a lot of skill. To produce these machines, you have to stay ahead of your game. And improve and develop new techniques, parts and machines.

D:Dreamhall

D:Dreamhall at the Delft University of Technology is home to outstanding young inventors, who have proven a number of times that there are no technological limits for people who are willing to push them. The machines built at D:Dreamhall are mostly vehicles that annually compete at international competitions and set world records, that were once considered impossible. For two years now, D:Dreamhall has entrusted a Leapfrog 3D printer to provide them with not only prototypes, but also creating actual parts for their vehicles.

Team Spirit

The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences is home to the CleanMobility projects whose goal is to show the world that energy efficiency has a future in mobility. Every year these engineering teams develop vehicles and boats, with which they later compete at international competitions focused on energy efficiency. Laurens van Mulukom, supervisor of the CleanMonility project, shared with Leapfrog their ambitions: “Our goal with these projects is helping students develop into the best engineers they can possibly be.
